Perfect for parties of all ages, enjoy a girl’s night out with friends, a team building activity, bachelorette party, or more, as you learn the correct techniques for staining wood and painting, while you spend quality time with one another throughout the workshop. They also host kid’s birthday parties, where you can choose between two types of stencils – traditional and “hot mess,” which is a fun way to get creative with color!

Experience flame working demonstrations by a resident expert who will manipulate hot glass in an open flame to produce sculptures, marbles, jewelry, and more. There’s a large variety of art classes ranging from preschool to adult, such as Sketchy Saturday’s Drawing Class, Maker’s Night, Mixed Media, Oil Painting, Watercolor, and more. You can also visit Curio’s new Clay Cave where you can sign up for a session to give it a whirl on a pottery wheel. They even offer “create it yourself” painting kits for kids to take home that includes all the supplies needed to create your masterpiece along with a free YouTube tutorial that teaches you techniques and how to complete your project!

Three Rivers Art Glass located in Saxonburg is the home studio of local glass artists. They carry a full-range of stained and fused glass tools and supplies to purchase, as well as hold workshops and studio time for glass makers. In the beginner level stained glass workshops, you will learn to cut glass, apply a copper foil, solder, and add wirework to create your own masterpiece. If you are an experienced glass maker, sign up for one of five workstations at open studio time and work on your own project. Or you can choose a private lesson to learn a certain skill in the art glass process, such as soldering, copper foiling, and more! Learn a useful skill that will help you repair your own art glass panel or lamp.
