(ZELIENOPLE, Pa. January 3rd, 2024): As travelers make their plans for the new year, Butler County is gearing up to host the highly anticipated 2024 Can-Am Police-Fire Games from July 15th to 21st. This electrifying event showcases the athleticism, resilience, and teamwork of our brave first responders from across Canada and the United States, and participant registration is open now!
Important Games Details:
50+ unique sporting events hosted at more than 18 different venues across Butler county.
From the "Toughest Firefighter Alive" competition that tests firemens’ essential skills to individual and team sports like swimming, powerlifting, and basketball, there's something for everyone.
Local sporting event venues include the state-of-the-art Lemieux Sports Complex, Slippery Rock University, Moraine State Park, and Butler County Community College’s Fire Training Facility.
Net proceeds of the Games will benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania.
Thousands of participants and their families are expected to attend, providing a significant economic boost to Butler County’s hotels, restaurants, and small businesses.
