To my surprise, a beaver popped up beside my kayak one evening while enjoying the surroundings at Lake Arthur. I couldn't believe the enormous tree branch he carried over to his lodge! So impressive to watch. Apparently he didn't like me being so close as he took his tail and splashed me! Another great reason I love Morraine State Park.
