I took this photo this February in Moraine State Park, at what looks like an old forgotten boat launch. I arrived just in time to catch the sun picturesquely beginning its descent along the sloped tree line. The air was cold and crisp and the sun's rays played across the blips and creases of the frozen Lake Arthur. The frigid yet clear air revealed the landscape's beautiful and often overlooked details in their full splendor that evening. All in all, it was a perfect evening for a winter shoot.
