Longtime Butler County Tourism Ceo/President Jack Cohen To Retire July 31, 2024 Board Announces Amy Pack As Executive Director
The Butler County Convention & Tourism Bureau (BCTCB) Board of Directors and CEO/President Jack Cohen announced his retirement from the organization to be effective July 31, 2024.
(ZELIENOPLE, Pa., April 25): They also announced that Amy Pack has been named Executive Director with a July 1, 2023 start date, which will provide a year’s worth of transition prior to her leading the organization.
“It’s been an honor and pleasure working with all of our members and staff to grow tourism in Butler County,” said Cohen, who was the first Chairman of the BCTCB Board of Directors in 2001 prior to becoming BCTCB’s second CEO in 2003. “I am proud of the many accomplishments and successes over the years working together with our members, business partners, community, staff, and government leaders. I look forward to working with Amy not only to ensure a smooth transition, but also to help position the Bureau and Butler County for the future.”
Pack, who was a Board Member for the Bureau prior to becoming an employee in 2012, is currently the BCTCB’s. Senior Director of Tourism Development
“I am honored to be selected by the Board as Executive Director,” said Pack, who has an extensive background in the hospitality industry. “Jack has provided outstanding guidance and leadership and I look forward to working closely with him to continue the great work the BCTCB has done the past 21 years.”
