Can-Am Police Fire Games Registration To Open for First Responders

(ZELIENOPLE, Pa., October 27, 2023): Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau is excited to announce that online registration for the highly-anticipated 2024 Can-Am Police-Fire Games will officially open Monday, October 30th, 2023 at 10 a.m. on ButlerCanAm2024.com. Athletes from various first responder groups are invited to register and begin planning their Games experience. The competition also welcomes the spouses and children (18+) of these dedicated individuals to compete, making the Games an opportunity for athletes and their families to connect with the first responder community at large.

The Can-Am Police-Fire Games, celebrating the unwavering dedication of first responders, aims to foster camaraderie and promote physical fitness and mental wellness. Participants will have the chance to showcase their skills, engage in friendly competition, and forge lasting connections with fellow heroes from different agencies. With approximately 50 different events offered at 18 different venues throughout Butler County, this thrilling event is expected to attract over 3,000 competitors.

Additionally, the Games are proud to be supporting Special Olympics Pennsylvania, which provides year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Through the free programming offered by Special Olympics, athletes learn developmental and life skills, enabling them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

The Games will take place July 15-21, 2024. Early registration is encouraged, as spots for certain events are limited and expected to fill up quickly. Out-of-town athletes can take advantage of Butler County's wide selection of lodging options, which are listed on the Games website.
