Overview
Did you know the North Country Trail goes under 422, with a view of the lake? Join us for a winter hike beginning in the parking lot leading to McDanels Boat Launch, McDanels Rd, Portersville, PA 16051. We will join the trail across from the purple martin houses, cross Muddy Creek on the trail bridge, view the dam spillway, and continue on the trail for an out-and-back hike of about three miles. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy footwear and bring your own water and trail snack. Severe or dangerous weather automatically cancels event.
