"Symphonic Dances" Butler County Symphony Orchestra Concert

Please join us for this Feb 4th, 2023 concert -- Nicholas Canellakis, cello, plays Carl Maria von Weber’s “Invitation to the Dance,” Dmitri Shostakovich’s “Cello Concerto No. 1,” and “Symphonic Dances” by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Concert tickets purchased in advance of February 3rd are Adults $30, Children or Students $10. At the door; Adults $35, Children or Students $12. Group rates are available. The Butler County Symphony Association was established in 1949. The Butler County Symphony Orchestra is a quality orchestra performing within a community framework, generating pride among Butler County residents while enriching their cultural lives. The Association presents six concerts per season, which showcase pieces chosen from all periods and brings educational programs to school students. Local musicians and students have the opportunity to partake in solo performances with the orchestra. Matthew Kraemer, music director and conductor, is quickly making his mark among young American conductors for his inspired performances and versatility.
