Slippery Rock University’s Homecoming Weekend will be held during October 14-16, 2022. We are excited to announce this year’s theme, “Feeling 22!” celebrating popular songs and culture. The parade will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 10:00am on Main Street.
Parade festivities are suitable for the entire family. There will also be a large community festival called “Rock the Block” from 11am–1pm outside Mihalik Thompson Stadium. The festival will include family-friendly entertainment, activities, and novelties, free for the entire Slippery Rock Community.

Entry forms must be received by Friday, September 16, 2022.
Types of entries include:
FLOATS: Back of an open pickup truck, truck bed, hay wagon, etc. and must be pulled by a motor vehicle on the parade route.
CAR: Decorate car with riders. Additional members may walk behind or beside the car.
WALKING: Group members will walk and/or carry a banner that supports the parade theme.
MARCHING GROUP OR BAND: Marching or walking group that may include musical instruments, color guard, etc.
