The Butler County Family YMCA is excited to host the Butler Wheels of Steel Car Cruise at ARMCO Park (341 Centerville Pike, Slippery Rock, PA 16057) early this summer, in partnership with the Butler Rodfathers. “We’re excited to invite the community back to our park as we kick off its opening weekend again this year. This is a great opportunity for families to experience the Park in its full capacity, including the pool which is scheduled to be open that day,” David Hilliard, CEO/President of the Butler County Family YMCA, shares. The pool, playground, Splash Pad, and trails will be open for all to enjoy, and the event boasts a 50/50, basket raffles, food trucks, a DJ, and more, along with the opportunity to enjoy vintage and one-of-a-kind cars.
The Car Cruise is on Sunday, June 5 from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM in the heart of ARMCO Park, adjacent to the Dance Hall, and the community are encouraged is come and enjoy this outdoor event. “With support from local donors and volunteers, this event has something for all ages to enjoy— and for free! All the monies raised will go right back to ARMCO Park,” Hilliard shares, “which will allow us to continue to offer our community an awesome out-of-doors experience this season.”
