The Harmony Museum is sponsoring walking tours through this historic borough, Saturdays in June. Each Saturday there will be tours beginning at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Each tour lasts about an hour and will describe Harmony's historic past as well as its unique architecture. Cost is $10 per person which supports Harmony Museum programs.
To reserve a spot and prepay for one of these tours, call the museum at 724-452-7341. Tours are limited to 15 people. If space is available, walk-ins can join a tour for $10 cash. The tours will leave from the Main Street side of the museum. Being outdoors, masks are not required but a good pair of walking shoes are recommended.
The June 5th tour will be led by retired history professor and Harmonist expert, Joe White. Kathy Luek, long-time administrator for the Harmony Museum will lead the June 12th tour, with Keith Mann, historian and Harmony Society expert from Ohio leading tours on June 19 and 26.
