Overview
The South Butler Community Library is dedicated to building community connections and providing tools for lifelong discovery. We are constantly striving to implement additional services to meet your needs, offer new and interesting programming for all ages, and curate the best-selling items you love to borrow. Weekly storytimes for children are free and no registration is required; Monday/Tuesday toddlers at 10:30am and Wednesday/Thursday preschool at 10:30am. Ongoing programs include Yarn Lovers, Mah Jong, Chess Club, biweekly Crafts for Adults/Teens, Top Shelf Book Club, Dementia Caregiver Support Group, Jane Austen Movie Club, and various speakers on finances, health, and history. Free library cards available to all Butler County residents and those with libraries cards from other counties where they live. Library cardholders can borrow items from our library plus all libraries in Pennsylvania. Your library card also gains access to many digital and online services from your mobile phone, tablet or computer including audiobooks, magazines, ebooks, movies, and research resources for both adults and youth. Book lovers find many treasures in our Book Store everyday for just $5 for a full grocery bag of books.
