Rich-Mar Rotary

The Rich-Mar Rotary Club is a civic organization whose members are dedicated to the ideal of service through their personal, business and community lives. The purposes of rotary are to offer service in the avenues of community, vocational, club and international.

Rich-Mar Rotary Club is one of more than 28,000 clubs that are part of Rotary International. Rotary clubs are located in 156 countries and 35 geographical regions of the world.

In 1968, a group of local business and professional men from Richland Township and the Mars area saw the need for a men's service club in the community. These men, and representatives of the Butler Rotary Club, met regularly for almost one year while plans were being made for the organizing of the Rich-Mar Club.

The club was chartered in the spring of 1969 with twenty-five members. Today the club has a membership of approximately sixty-five business and professional men and women who represent many of the businesses and industries in the community.
