Overview
The Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center provides FREE primary medical care, basic dental care, behavioral health services and health & wellness education. Our patients are individuals aged 19-64 and do not have insurance. If you do not have insurance or do not have a doctor, we can help! Contact us if you have questions or if we can be of assistance.
Hours:
Monday - Wednesday 8am - 4pm
Thursday 11am - 7pm
Friday 8am -2pm*Hours may vary depending on volunteer availability - please call for an appointment.
GREAT Care: The Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center is a Non-Profit, Volunteer-Powered, Community-Funded Health Center. The philosophy of The Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center is to promote a "culture of caring" emphasizing the use of medical and non-medical volunteers, recognizing that healing begins when patients are treated with dignity and respect. In alignment with Volunteers in Medicine, there is never a charge for any of the services provided by The Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center.
Medical Services: History and Physical Exam, Treatment of Acute and Chronic Illness, Treatment of Minor Injuries, Order Diagnostic Testing, EKG Testing/Basic Interpretation, Prescription Assistance, Patient Educaation, Select Immunizations, Referral to Specialists - when indicated.
Dental Services: Dental Exam, Cleanings, Fillings, Extractions, Full Mouth/Panoramic X-Rays, Oral Cancer Screening.
