Overview
The Cranberry Men’s Chorus is an exciting a cappella chorus singing songs from the 50’s through the 90’s. We take songs that we grew up with, add harmony and create an exciting experience for not only our audiences, but for the singers themselves.
We have performed throughout Beaver, Butler and Northern Allegheny counties near Pittsburgh, PA to rave reviews and numerous repeat performances. We have performed at Summer Concert Series including:
- New Wilmington
- Moon Township
- Saxonburg’s Festival of the Arts
- Mars Apple Fest
- Alameda Park in Butler
We’ve strolled Main Street singing our popular music at the Mingles on Main Street in Saxonburg and we have also performed for the Adams Township War Memorial Service and at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier traveling exhibit in Zelienople on the 4th of July.
Performing songs from the Beach Boys, Elton John, Elvis, The Vogues, Neil Diamond, Frankie Valli, Mamma Cass Elliott, The Platters, The Eagles, Bobby Vinton, Billy Joel and many more. The chorus has reinvented itself and people are loving it. Our concerts are more like a party where we expect the audience to sing along, dance, clap and enjoy the whole experience.
We also perform an Annual Show every year which features our chorus, chapter quartets and a special guest. In 2023 we are hoping to get back to our annual show that was thwarted by the Pandemic. The show was going to feature special guests Johnny Angel and the Halos and we are in talks to make that happen this year.
During the winter months we turn our attention to holiday music and perform an Annual Christmas Concert as well as perform around town at various events.
Under the direction of our award-winning director Ron Brooks, you are in for a fun, exciting and rewarding experience singing with likeminded men who start as friends and become family.
To help perpetuate our family we enjoy events with our spouses and families including a Dinner and Show night out, an annual Chapter Picnic and a wonderful Family Christmas Banquet.
We invite men of all ages who love to sing to join us any Monday night at Dutilh United Methodist Church at 1270 Dutilh Road Cranberry Township, PA 16066. We start rehearsals at 7pm and provide music, part tracks and support from other members to help you learn your part and start enjoying the a cappella experience.
