Overview

The Auxiliary to the BTVFD is open to the community, you do not need to have a family member in the fire company. Our membership is open to any person aged 18 or older. Junior members aged 14 to 17 can join as well.

The purpose of the Auxiliary is to assist the members of the Fire Company through fundraising and public relations. We help to provide a link to the local community via events and fundraisers such as our Craft & Vendor Shows and Raffles. Another important function is to help create a family-friendly atmosphere by sponsoring events for families of the Auxiliary and Fire Company members.

Come and join us! It is a great opportunity to make new friends, to learn more about your local fire company, to help serve your community, and to have some fun.
