The Appalachian Rock Shop is housed in a wonderful historical building, known as The Shops on West Diamond, in Downtown Butler. The selection is a treasure trove—sparkling geodes, polished gemstones, raw crystals, minerals, fossils and even jewelry. Each item tells a story of geological wonder. Great for someone just getting to know rocks, as well as a for seasoned Geologist. The shop is staffed by a group of friendly rock enthusiast who are happy to share their expertise, but also love to learn from customers! This shop is a place to foster educational, kindness, and strives to provide an engaging experience.
This rock shop is a haven where science, art, and natural beauty converge to delight and educate visitors of all ages and interests. Open Wed-Sat. 10-5, Sun. 10-3.
